I owned engineering direction, people leadership, delivery, and operations while continuing to build product and platform capabilities myself.

• Led hiring, onboarding, one-to-ones, feedback, career development, budget, and capacity planning. Rebuilt and stabilised the engineering team after major turnover.
• Set priorities and contributed to the roadmap, aligning stakeholders and coordinating external vendors, operations, and technical trade-offs. Established transparent planning and delivery workflows in Linear.
• Set the technical direction for an incremental move from EmberJS and GraphQL/Node.js towards Vue.js and Fastify.
• Consolidated 22 deployments onto a shared, self-managed Kubernetes cluster, automated delivery end to end, and reduced monthly infrastructure spend by around 80%.
• Designed, implemented, tested, and rolled out xitavis Material Tracking, tracing construction materials from delivery through installation.
• Introduced AI-assisted workflows supporting roughly 75% of development work, combining automated PR reviews, AI-assisted Linear tickets, and agentic delivery with GitHub Copilot, Copilot Cloud, and Codex.

I’m building a web and iOS product for managing miniature-paint collections, connecting my engineering work with my own painting hobby.

• Own product discovery, UX, architecture, full-stack implementation, infrastructure, and releases.
• Built the application with Vue.js, TypeScript, and Capacitor, backed by Fastify, libSQL, and OpenAPI, with Docker and Terraform for infrastructure.
• Use AI across roughly 90% of the delivery workflow: ChatGPT-to-Linear ticket creation, remote Codex implementation, automated PR reviews, and complementary work with GitHub Copilot and Claude.
